Jenny co-founded Citygreen with Paul in June 2008. Having always wanted to be an opera singer, Jenny had a successful career as a Chartered Surveyor in the City for 8 years before moving into the Design and Build sector in the mid-90s. She has worked in all aspects of the industry from Sales to Project Management and has loved every minute. Favourite catchphrase: ‘Fortune favours the brave’.
Paul is a co-founder of Citygreen and a Chartered Architect. He has been working in the design and build sector since the mid 1980s, and although he started as a designer within the industry, he has extensive experience across the board. Paul has a busy life outside Citygreen with family, friends and local community projects, but his heart belongs to classic cars and his head can be turned by the soft purr of an engine or the rattle of a rusty exhaust pipe.. Favourite catchphrase – “You can take the man out of Essex….”
Having grown up in the Cambridge area and worked there for a number of years, Barnaby is well placed to head up the Citygreen Cambridge Office and ensure continuity of the same quality of service and design. Along with a love of fast cars, Barnaby’s main hobbies include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Favourite catchphrase: “No burger is too big”.
Fabien has been working in the Design and Build industry for more than 12 years and to our knowledge, is the only French native in our sector. Absolute dedication to finding the best solution for his clients has ensured that Fabien has successfully worked with major UK and European PLC’s as well as with smaller companies. Fabien’s natural shrugging ability is useful in the office where his French background is the basis of many in house jokes.
Gwen has extensive experience in the property sector, firstly as the in-house Agent for Wilky in Surrey, then moving into the Design & Build industry from 2010 securing New Business with projects ranging from 2,000 to 40,000 sq ft within London and the Home Counties. When Gwen’s not closing a deal, you’ll find her on her road bike as she is a very keen cyclist who normally covers 100+ miles over the weekend.
Terry has been enjoying the Design & Build industry since 2006 and has worked within various different environments. Terry’s honest and sincere approach opens a lot of doors to enable him to help on their first step of their journey. Terry is currently enjoying his first year of marriage in London.
Tim was practically born into the fit out and refurbishment industry, having worked on building sites for his father from a tender age. Tim has now been working in the industry as a Project Manager for ten years and, having proved he can successfully deliver any project to the very highest standard, he has taken on the role of Director of Project Management at Citygreen. As a proud father of three children, Tim has a busy home life but still makes time to support Oxford United (somebody has to).
George is Citygreen’s Finance Director with over 20 years’ experience at the commercial coalface. His appetite for success is matched with his drive, enthusiasm and ability to deliver not only a first class experience to Citygreen’s clients, but also to bring to the table project financing solutions to meet todays challenging economic climate. George enjoys the ups and downs of road cycling in the Chiltern hills.
Greg came to London in 2005 at the age of 18 to find his way in life (he’s still looking). Soon after arriving in London, he began work in the construction industry. After working his way up the ladder for 5 years doing any and every job, he joined Citygreen as a Project Manager where he can still deal with anything that a project can throw at him. Greg is extremely ambitious, always has a smile on his face and believes in working hard and playing harder. Favourite catchphrase – unprintable.
As a native Italian, Cristina arrived in the UK in 2008 and joined the crew at Citygreen in 2009. Her natural flair for organisation and ability to dig into the detail of just about anything meant that she naturally fell into a project management role. In the past few years, Cristina has shown that she can take on anything and deliver it with the style of an Italian footballer. Sponsored by Citygreen, she has completed a Masters degree in Building Surveying and mastered the English language to a level that makes the rest of us look like rank amateurs. Her cooking skills have yet to be tested, but we are all hoping….
Dan has completed and project managed a large number of refurbishment and fit out projects over the last 7 years. Forward thinking with an excellent eye for detail, Dan has a positive and lateral approach to any situation. He pro-actively develops lasting relationships with clients, whilst also supporting Citygreen’s wider aim to minimise the environmental impact of its projects. Dan is also famous for his super human speed walking and ability to eat quantities of pizza without the slightest effect on his waist line.
Suzy was a client of Jenny’s in a previous life, before her company went down in style, running up the biggest debt in Australian corporate history. Suzy has since co-founded a counselling partnership, work she loves passionately, but on a part-time basis due to its emotional intensity. The camaraderie of Citygreen and her varied and hands-on role provides the perfect antidote.

“An office fit out, first in ten years, was critical for us to deliver functional but inspiring space for an agency whose staff work in the creative sector of research. Citygreen demonstrated that they understood what we meant by creative space. They were not the cheapest quote but I’m pretty
